Board game night was a success. Thank you everyone for coming. We had a great time playing some great games and we raised $55 for the Red Cross. Nice!
Let's keep it up with another month of board game night. As an added bonus, it's just so happens that International Tabletop Day is on the same day. Don't know what International Tabletop Day is? Here's a blurb:
And let us not forget the places we play games, find our new passions, or simply connect with those who are looking to play together. International Tabletop Day lives within the walls of your friendly local game store and community events. It is here that communities and games find each other, where information is shared and passions flare to life. You’ll find a universe to explore behind every door and beneath every box. International Tabletop Day looks to shine a light on stores and community events out there looking to bring everything that we love about the day together.
People all around the world are dedication this day to friends and games. You don't want to be left out, do you?
We'll be having another PitchCar tournament to raise funds for the Red Cross. There's a $5 donation fee to enter and the winner will get a prize. This week's prize is a copy of Bang: The Dice Game. So if you like shooting varmints in the Old West or flicking cars around a racetrack or just want to help a good cause enter the tournament and best of luck to you!
This month's featured games will be:
- Ponzi Scheme - How long can you keep your shell game going without going bankrupt?
- Parade - Go through the looking glass and make a parade beyond your imagination
- Barcelona: The Rose of Fire - Rebuild the city of Barcelona, but don't take advantage of the masses
- Sushi Go! - Make a delicious meal of sushi
Also, feel free to browse my collection and let me know if you're interested in playing a specific game. I'll make sure to teach it to you.
As always, invite your friends, bring a snack and have some fun. Make sure to RSVP on the Facebook page or let me know directly so that there is enough food.
